• Look up so that we can swipe right. The wrong way to live and there’s a right way to live. Exodus 2:12. Metaphor. He look this way, look that way, seen no one and did something he felt he should do, killed the egyptian and hid the body. If we just look to the right to culture, look to the left to our friends, look to media. We got to look up, what does heaven think what does God wants us to do.

• The problem is not that you have a sex drive but when you let sex drive. When you do whatever you feel, give in to your desire. If sex is God given, it should be God governed. Gen 2:24. That’s how God intend for it, if we take it out of marriage, it will hurt you.

• When God tell us what or how we ought to do something we will roll our eyes and whine like, aiya whatever you just dont want me to have any fun. But we don’t use this logic on anything else. If we see safety labels on chainsaw we don’t go like, or you just dont want me to have fun. We assume the best positive intentions of homefix but get upset with God who made us as though He doesnt know anything that we don’t know.

When you take what God doesn’t want you to touch, it can keep Him from giving you what He intent to all along.

• When columbus first saw pineapple. They all freaked out. Shaped like a pine but juicy on the inside like a golden apple. Brought it back to europe and everyone freaked out, everyone wanted to them. People would rent pineapples, it affected the design of architectures, people put it on top of building. SO more people started planting and supply went up, demand went down. And now we have pineapple chunks in a tin can. From work of art to chunks. Just like sex

• Something that is widely available to everybody is hardly desirable to anyone. IT’s one guarded experience that’s only reserved for one person. Where you are naked and vulnerable to somebody.

3 Lies about sex

1. Sex is just a physical activity

• If there’s no God, what we do doesn't matter. Just biological, as long as you're making sure that you’re not reproducing if you don't want to and that if it’s consensual then it doesn't matter.

• But God says, sex involves you in the deepest level. 1 Corinthians 6:16. “The two become one”. You’re not just bringing your body to the table, you’re bringing in your heart, your soul and your mind. The experiences changes you, you don’t come out the same. You can’t glue 2 things together then tear than apart and expect them to be like the same.

• It’s not about ‘safe sex’. There isn’t a condom big enough to fit over your soul. What you’re doing is more than physical

• 1 Cor 6:17. Porn is like heroin. Leads to an ability to maintain a long term relationship because the instant gratification becomes so easy. If you just manipulate the physical side of sex , it can cause you to become numb on the inside to the side of sex that wants to come to life and become a source of beauty and strength.

2) I can what I want and have what God wants.

• What we’re doing right now is the present and one day what you do now will become your past and our past has a pesky way of showing up in our future. For good or for evil, the things that we do, they live on.

• Galatians 6:7. The same shall he reap. You can’t sow sin and reap blessing, sow death and reap life. Come now, because whatever we do now will determine what fruits we reap later. Are we doing things now that will help us say thank you later on or am i giving myself a headache later on.

• “I can ask for forgiveness later and God will forgive me. I’m going to do this now, i can be young, i can be free, do what I want and eventually i will say sorry and he will forgive me.” Of course He will. If you are in Christ, He has already done that, forgiven us for what you haven't even done yet. But there’s a difference between forgiveness & consequences. But He much rather be blessing you and using than forgiving you. Who told you that God highest good was just to forgive you of sins He didn’t even want you to commit in the first place. He rather have His HS come upon you, use you to drive evil and darkness out of your school, to be thriving.

• Your desires can keep you from your destiny. Hebrews 12:16. For something that just felt good for a night, trade away some promise of future pleasure. Now yells louder but later last longer. Instant gratification will keep you from future satisfaction.

• Zoom out and look at the bigger picture. Don’t play the field, reach the world. Use your single years and pour yourself into the kingdom. Work this little window. As you do, you’re going to become a different version of yourself everyday & you’ll attract what you are. Who you’ll attract down the lane as you fight for the kingdom will be super different as who you’ll attract here as you settled for here. Is who we’re dating having the forbidden fruit? Because that’s what they’re continue to be after when we get married. They are showing you they like the taste of the forbidden fruit.

3) I’m already messed up, so there’s no hope for me.

• Samson. Going in circles in the dungeon, vision dim and lost his hair. Judges 16:22. His hair grew longer and he grew stronger. His greatest day came after his greatest failure. Samson took our more philistines in his blind, weakened condition than he ever had because now he had something he never had. Humility.

• The devil wants to keep us locked in the past. But instead of saying “i wish i had, i wish i hadn’t”, we need to learn to say “from this day forward”. IM going to honour God, im going to fight for honour. Yes i might still fall but I can keep getting up. God loves you and HE wants to put a ring on ur finger and a robe on your shoulder. It does not honour God to pay for sins that Jesus already paid for. In God’s hands, dead things can live.

• Beautify your babylon. I might not be able to talk to this person for a while but that’s okay, you might not be able to get back to where you wer. Beautify my babylon. There’s no pit so deep that God is not deeper still.
