who is the weaker gender?

men. LOL

1) 90% of prisoners are men. they always get themselves into trouble

2) God chose the stronger gender to give birth

3) If men can do everything that God wants them to do, why did God create a helper?

The issue is not men is stronger or weaker. It's like playing badminton, one person don't do well, the other person must cover and it's tiring

Where did family come from?

Gen 1:1, 27 - 28b.

Order of Relationships

1) God created man - God and man

2) Male and female - husband and wife

3) Be fruitful - parents and children

(fill the earth and subdue it, from family to tribes to societies to nations)

Firstly settle men in the family because if men in the family is not sorted out, men cannot be effective in the marketplace.

Restoring Man's role in Families (measure yourself)

1) God / Man Rs

- do we believe that we are created in God's image? If we come from apes then we behave like apes

- Jeremiah 9: 23 -24. Our degrees, our looks, rich, toys we have.

Boast about this: that he understand and knows me. (a true man is one who understands his identity in God)

restore sonship (vertical)

- The Lords Prayer (our father in heaven. the prayer didn't start with thy kingdom come thy will be come. that's the chiong part.)

restore kinship (horizontal)

- The Prodigal Son (one father 2 sons. the younger son said im not good enough. the older said HE is not good enough. they had a vertical rs with the father but not a horizontal rs with each other)

2) Husband / Wife Rs

- if satan can destroy this rs, satan will dsetroy family, church and nation

- malachi 4 : 5-6. why send elijah, not moses or paul or who. elijah is always linked to elisha. impart a double portion.

- impart double portion of the right kind. but our hearts are turned away, to our vices, work, footwork. Turned against. but it should be turned towards. then they will receive double portion.

mothering vs fathering

-sunlight vs water (u need both)

-toys (mommies buy toys, daddies are the toys)

-protecting children (moms protect children now. fathers protect them by preparing them for the future. ah boys to men is the fathers job.)

- moms have to cut the umbilical cord twice. physical detachment and emotional detachment. if not men outside, boys inside. how does the boy grow up to be a man? need father to bring the boy out.

- how are fathers in the churches doing? (48% view mom as very religious. 23% view dad as very religious. 27% experienced family devotions, prayer or bible reading. 29% expereinced family svc proj. 28% talked to mom abt faith. 13% talked to dad about faith)

- 1 kings 19 : 18. elijah did not do it alone, God preserved 7000 ppl to do it.

- abortion is not a woman issue it's a men issue too. "you decide i support you"

- turn hearts of children to the fathers too. turn our hearts back to the family.

- God says both must turn. Ex 20:12. you must honour both ur parents. your parents cannot give you what they didn't receive from their parents. if they receive love, they will give love. if they receive pain they will give pain. unless God comes into the picture and change all that.

Prophetic Dream:

- everything about singapore is locked up in the next generation.

- the next generation needs to be fathered. the elishas are looking for the elijahs, joshuas looking for the moses and

timothy looking for the pauls.
