When we pray for people to be healed. There was nothing I could do to make things change or work. But i yearned to hard cause i really wanted that miracle i really wanted to see something. What’s our mindset with evangelism.
When the Bible talks about those who don’t know God, it uses words like deaf, blind and dead. The natural man he can’t understand these spiritual things. When we talking about outreach we’re talking about a miracle must happen. It’s almost like raising the dead. But we don’t see it that way. It’s when the heart of stone suddenly becomes a heart of flesh, there will be new desires.
Analogy: If God literally wanted me to go to the cemetery and raise someone from the dead. Who would i bring? A good communicator? A band? Scripture says that those who are attached to the vine, that’s where fruits are going to come from. I would bring those who are closest to God, all get down and start praying. We would know that our flesh is of no help at all.
Are we just content to talk to Moses? Do you know you can walk up the mountain yourself. Why not go up yourself and be in the presence of God yourself. If we ourselves experienced God, we come down the mountain like Moses we don’t just teach them. We tell them to get themselves up the mountain. Movements start because the founders really know God. But movements die when the followers only know the founder and not God.
Are there dead people in our midst who we’re just propping up and telling others they’re still alive? Find more accountability partners, nag more, ‘they’re alive..’ It should be like seeing someone come back from the dead.
John 17:20-23. Just as Jesus and God was one. The church is to be one. Not just put up with one another but to truly love one another. In the flesh we think. Philippians 1. When we’re striving side by side as a team, that’s when the world is going to believe.
We’re trying to raise the dead. It’s not going to happen by cleverness. But through us being attached to the vine. But through us being so united as a church and praying for that miracle to happen.
Proclaiming the gospel. Jesus said when we take the bread and drink of His blood, we’re ‘proclaiming’ Him until His return. I can preach the gospel by taking communion?
